making hot cross buns

MAKING HOT CROSS BUNS
INGREDENTS:

To make the yeast mixture
1 tsp of yeast
1/3 cups of warm water
1/2 tsp of sugar

Other ingredients:
2 cups of flour
½ cups of raisins
½ of warm milk
½ tbsp of mixed spice
1 beaten egg
20 grams of butter
½ tbsp of cinnamon

Method:
1.) Combine yeast, warm water and sugar together. Leave in a warm place until frothy.
2.) Then get a big bowl and add the dry ingredients and fruit. Make a well in the middle and pour the warm milk, melted butter, beaten in egg and yeast mixture.
3.) Mix well then turn onto a floured bench and knead it for 10 min.
Divide evenly into pieces and roll into buns.
4.) Place on trays till double in size (1 hour)
5.) Bake in preheat oven for about 20 min
6.) Then you eat them (yum)
