We have been collecting Yummy stickers this term so we can use them to purchase sports equipment. Room 5 are already onto the second chart so we have more than 130. We have been eating lots of fruit in our class.
On Monday Fontera supplied Tomarata and a whole lot of other schools in the district
with long life milk. In Darcie's and Saffron's opinion it was alright but you do have to shake it before you drink it. In other people's opinons they thought it smelt and tasted a bit like weet-bix. It was a new taste for people because we all like normal milk but... it was still good & tasty.
For homework this week we thought of ways we could use a waste item in a useful or creative way. There were some great creations. Toilet rolls were used as seedling pots for growing vegetable seeds; a plastic bottle was used to make a watering container for the garden; a variety of objects were used to make a decorative cow; empty plastic or wooden containers were turned into attractive pencil cases and a jar was used to make an attractive vase.
Ms Malone is our student teacher. She is going to be in our room for the next four weeks this term. She is a wonderful helper for Mrs Salt and the rest of the class. We are looking forward to working with her. SHE IS THE BEST.
It was Wacky Wednesday at Tomarata School on the 29th February. There were all sorts of wacky things happening and we had some interesting characters at school. It was hard to identify some people because they were so wacky. Our class thought the day was: Awesome, Loopy, Random, Super, Funny, Freaky, Exciting, Fun, Creative, Spectacular, Crazy, Funky, Wicked and Brilliant.
