Remembering Corey

Today we talked and wrote about Corey who was sadly killed in an accident last Friday.  He was a very important classmate in Room 5 and we have many great memories of our times with him.  He will be remembered for his cheerful smile and the pleasure he got from his successes. He enjoyed joining in with all the activities the class did at school.

MAKING PAPER

At school some people in our class made paper. The people in our group were Tamsyn,Holly,Rebecca and Michaela. The colour we choose to do it was Violet. We had to make the pulp from recycled paper and put it in a large container with more water.  We used the paper sandwich makers to pick up a layer of pulp.  We turned it onto some cardboard and left it to dry.  Our paper turned out grey.

Fire Wise

Last Week Fire wise came to our school to talk about fire safety. They did a competition to see if anyone from our school could earn themselves a certificate. You had to hop out of bed (three chairs) and crawl to the door the older kids did the best. They did a puppet show everyone enjoyed it. I enjoyed the story about his dog the most.

Mothers day plan!

For Mothers Day

I would make mum one boiled golden egg from the Giant who lives up the Beanstalk. I would also cook up the The Three little pigs. I will need to climb up the Beanstalk and steal the golden egg. I would ring up Little Red Riding Hood and get her to kill the The Three little pigs. I will give Mum crispy bacon with the boiled egg in bed.
